Actually I remember seeing a score card of Pachter's predictions. Most of the ones he got right were either obvious or were predictions that he later reversed course on. For example he said something about Bully, then reversed it with an opposing prediction, and it turns out he was right in the first place. Of course if I predict it will either rain or not rain tomorrow, I have a pretty good chance of being correct :P
His biggest predictions all failed, of course. I mean look at the view he had of the console war as late as 2007:
