But for us? Regular gamers? Anyone that says its totally happy with it is lying. Nintendo really needs a kick in the balls to get its game straight
And fanboys... really... you dont have to defend every little thing nintendo does! Its the true: Nintendo does a lot of stupid stuff too! A LOT! The Wii can really lead the industry to another "video game crash", just on the amount of shovelware (3rd AND FIRST PARTY SHOVELWARE) its unleashing on the market Understand this. Understand your responsability on this. If we dont take a stand on this, our favorite pastime will be gone in two years. All that will be left will be the cell phone and facebook games
PS: and here´s more from the best scene of The Nutty Professor |
I have 25ish games on the Wii and plenty I would love to get, but lack the funds. To claim it is a dire situation is strictly hyperbole. Hell, I just got what is arguably the best 2D Mario platformer ever. Think about that statement for a second, and then understand the implications. I don't love everyone of the games they release, but thats why I play third party games as well!
And if you genuinely think the Wii can lead to another video game crash then you have no clue what you are talking about. The crash of the mid-eighties was brought about by a number of factors entirely absent from this generation. It is really sad to see people trying to throw it out there and have someone take them seriously. When games are released that are, literally, unplayable on the machine then we can talk. As of right now they all can be played, and either enjoyed or loathed as appropriate.
