For those who have not heard, Tiger Woods is taking "an indefinite leave from golf." His reasoning is to work on being a better "husband, father, and person."

Depending on how long he is out, he may disappear from view so much that standing behind him is not a viable option for EA (or anyone).

It's winter right now anyway.  I'm sure he will be back to playing again in the spring.

He was supposed to play last week -- and he was supposed to start his season in January.

Golf has no real off-season.

I know, but the big events are quite some time away.  The Masters isn't until mid April, and FedEx Cup events don't start until late August.  He can take three or four months off without missing much of anything.

I'll add to this that if he takes too much time off he is going to have problems with his sponsors.
