True MK wii does sell well, along with anything with mario on the cover, but try being a 3rd party releasing a new ip. Its very difficult to introduce a new game into the wii market and have it be an overall good game and still be competitively prices with the shovel-ware. If you aren't known to the market already and release a game at $50, you'll lose out on the wii. Its difficult being a new IP to begins with, much less dealing with the overwhelming competition.
