Nintendo's been using this file format for most of their in-game music since... I guess the SNES? I don't want to be mean, but Zelda games aren't really recognized for being strong in the music department anyways (other than for the themes, Ganon and other boss battle themes). I guess that's why we don't really see a lot of Zelda music remixes around the web. With all that said, it isn't the best .midi overworld theme I've heard in a Zelda game. |
