Soriku did not know the main overworld theme...? Wow.
Seriously though, it's easy to forget how old some of the other games are. My bro is about a year older than Soriku, and while I was playing NSMB Wii recently, he'd ask things like "Why didn't you die?" when I'd get hit while powered up (mushroom, flower or whatnot).
Apparently he never played a 2D Mario before. I was thinking, "How the f- is that possible?"
The kids today grew up in the 3D era, so that's all most of them know.
