If you have any interest in Spyborgs, it is only $10 (USD) at Gamestop.

This is half the price of last week -- and an 80% reduction in the release price of $50 about three months ago.

The game's modest sales (currently 30k in North America)  moved it from high-end to bargain sales price point within a few weeks of release. Now it appears to be at close-out.

What I wonder, if Capcom had not listened and instead released the game as it was shows in the original trailers, would it have been better off? I certainly think so because it gave up style and humor -- which seems to work on the Wii -- for firepower.

Then again, I sometimes wonder if Capcom intentionally had this title do poorly to provide it with an excuse not to do Wii work. That almost sounds like something the North American unit would do.

Y'know, I'm not sure what makes you suspect this from the publisher that's bringing us RE: DSC, Monster Hunter 3, and most of all, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, a title which I never thought would leave Japan.

Capcom might not be backing the Wii as heavily as some third parties, but I wouldn't accuse them of slacking at this point.

That is why I made the snarky comment. But I don't believe it at this point.

I don't think he actually has a lot of pull within Capcom. He seems too busy gabbing with people outside the company to do much talking inside the company.

And then there's how other Capcom staff contradict him from time to time...
