And there are alot of examples like Sins of a Solar Empire, alothough sins is the most popular. You have to wonder why the rise of indie gaming on PC is so huge.

Console games dominate their PC counterparts if the game is console-focused or the PC version comes out months later. When the game is PC-centric and comes out at the same time, most likely the PC version will outsell. Just look at Dragon Age, Fallout 3 and Oblivion all those 3 are selling far better on PC. And if it's not Action-Adventure title, or an yearly iteration then my money is on the PC version outselling.

 

And where exactly is your data backing PC sales > console sales for those games ?

How about the fact that Dragon Age holds 2 Top Ten spots on Steam since it was out for pre-order.  How about both Oblivion and Fallout 3 are from bethesda, which sell millions for every game(no matter how crap) on PC for ages? Morrowind is still selling on PC.

 

On another note, there are now over 235.5k signatures in the petition. Less than 15k left.
