I'd say I'm thrifty, not cheap. But $100 is just plain insane! I can pull off a professional look for less than that! I'll break it into pricing: 2-piece suit: $29.00 Undershirt: ~$1.00 Dress shirt: $3.00 Tie: $3.00 Dress socks: ~$1.00 Dress shoes: $15.00 Total: $52.00 Tilde's are for aggregated costs from a multi-pack, and also, for the record, I paid 10% less than the listed prices because of an employee discount. And if you still think I spent too much, drop the suit for a jacket ($15.00) and a pair of dress pants ($7.00) to save another $7! Now, I know the next obvious question. Do I have enough for a work week without having to do laundry every day? The answer to that is yes! And some of the other things are even cheaper than the listed prices. (I have a couple of dress shirts that were $2.00. Not enough for a week, though.) Oh yeah, I guess there's the fact that I don't even know where to go for a shirt over $100. I can even get a Versace shirt for $80, not that I would, mind you. (Plus they don't come in my size.) |
I can tell you for a fact your shirt won't look anywhere NEAR as good as the one I just bought for £70
