You expect Ps3 version to sell better... so obvious the 9 million lead the 360 has wont mean much. And combined Ps3 360 sales will still be less then Ps2's.

Youre right it is the end of the arguement. It still hasn't outsold MGS3. Thanks for proving my point.

I never wanted to bring it up before because I didnt want the 360 users a reason to troll.

See, there's many, many, many games that go against that logic. GT3 sold more than GT4, FFX sold more than FFXII,MGS2 sold more than MGS3, Halo 3 sold more than Halo 2, Gow 1 sold more than GoW 2, Gears 1 sold more than Gears 2. Soccer games sell more in PS3 than in 360 and many other examples.

 

If you're going to say " FFX sold more because it was ps2 first FF", "GT sold more because it was ps2 first FF", "Gears 1 sold more because had stronger word of mouth", "Soccers games sells more in ps3 because EU loves PS" and this kind of argument just proves the point that there are other factor much more important than userbase.
