This is probably the wrong site to complain on. I used Mininova as well and will miss it. I used it primarily for TV shows. I can't get the channels that send them over here and I have to wait between one and two years before the shows eventually reach Norway...
Not an option in my opinion, living in the icy wastes sure has it drawbacks!
