60 million, yeah baby yeah!! Next up we have to see if it will outsell the PS2.

What? Wii is less than halfway of beating PS2,  140 million so far they've sold, but Wii will top NES for sure before xmas.

I think some time in the future the Wii will outsell the PS2 not before Christmas, but I am certain that this will happen some day.

No later than 2015 I think but DS will outsell PS2 is 2011 sometime, It's selling like crazy still and the DSi XL is yet to come.

I'm not sure Wii will reach PS2, there are so many unknowns...but DS will probably reach 150m before the end of FY 2010.

60m is a great number, it will soon become the third best selling console of all time (PS2>PS1>Wii right?).

And I don't think Nintendo will launch a new console if Wii continues with this numbers, even if it has no HD and hardware of 2002.

Wii should top PS1 in 2012 I'de say, it could do 88 million end of 2011 at the most if it sells a good 200,000 a week or a lot of weeks.   DS I see selling like news papers for a long time.

88 millions at the end of 2011?? That would be bad for Nintendo, it means in 2 years the Wii would be able to just sell 28millions.

Probably that is the low end for 2011, i would say everything less than 95m is bad for the Wii considering its current trend.

IMO next year the Wii will reach 81-82 millions and the year after hopefully over 100millions.

For the end of 2009 probably the Wii will be at 63-64 millions so for me it's not impossible to sell 36 million consoles in 2 full years, especially with all the great games and things Nintendo can make.

I just heard somewhere that this guy thinks Wii could only sell like 13 million in 2010 and less in 2011, but he sounds a bit pessimistic. End of 2009 I hoped wii to sell no less than 62 million and end of 2010, Wii to sell no less than 73 million or they could sell lot more if it sells better in 2010 than this year.  IF Wii does sell what Nintendo is hoping it to do,  we could see Wii topping 100 Million in the first half of 2012, while DS is so far ahead with about 170 million sold, a lot.  End of 2011 95 million you say? even if it does about 90 million it's not a big disaster, it will be the first Nintendo console to sell so much.

We are speaking of winner and successful consoles, and them have to be compared to succesful consoles. Sure even if Wii stopts selling after having overpassed NES sales it would however be an extremely successful console; but this year, considered a bad year for Wii by many people, it's gonna selling 20m according to Nintendo. I think next year it will be able to do as much or more, considering all the great games are coming. 90 millions is not a disaster, but it's the low end for Wii's and Nintendo power: if all is right next year we should see at least two of the big three titles from Nintendo, plus some games for the new audience like Vitality Sensor, and many other surprires; and NSMBW and Wii Fit Plus just launched, they'll bring new people (pretty much all multi million sellers have this effect) to Wii. Wii has the possibility to have a great year in 2010 (bigger than 2008?) and even if it's better than 2009 it could still be near or above 20m. Speaking of 2011 is difficult but 15 millions seems very little to do right now, especially because of Dragon Quest X in Japan (if FFXIII will sell 500k new PS3s I think DQX can have a similar or bigger effect for Wii).
