I think you misunderstood his post.

He didn't mean to call Watchmen a manga. His sentence is supposed to read like this:

"I'm sure there are mangas out there as awesome as Watchmen (the comic), however..."

That is also what I meant. Also if you wanna be anal, it's Watchmen, not Watchman.
