I didn't put it as well as I could in that case. In the case of Madden, it's still making money, but not enough to offset overspending of EA in general. Either they find something that helps Madden make even more money, or they reduce spending (as in not making so many big, expensive games, not job cutting) and not rely on Madden as a crutch anymore.
As for stickball, I'll respond to you when you edit that wall of code out. I'm sure it was an accident, but please fix it.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
