Why is everyone talking like they already played FF XIII?

And seriously, you are all WAY OVERREACTING.

cause I already played FFXIII?

No you haven't? You said "I will buy it. And I will enjoy it. I'll enjoy it like it was a 50/40."

Ugh wait, you downloaded it?

I was talking about the demo.... I assume that's the only version the general public actually has access to at this point. Unfortunately I can't download it becuase it's not releasing for 360 in Japan.

Ah, good, I remember a previous thread of yours, and I was hoping you wouldn't download this game of all games.

Demoes aren't always indicative of how the final product will turn out.

I knew that thread would come back to bite me in the ars....

I would never download this game. I would pay twice the price of a regular game for this. and whatever extra money for the collectors edition. EVEN IF FAMITSU GAVE IT A 30/40.

I know demos aren't always the best indicator to the final product...but the FFXIII demo was different. Playing it would change your mind completely. IT BLEW ME AWAY. It's a JRPG on a scale that you have never experienced before. Five minutes into the demo I could tell that they completely nailed it. The battle system is INSANE. You jump from the regular screen to battles instantly...something that took almost an entire minute to do in Lost Odyssey. The graphics crush everything else I've seen. The gameplay is fluid and the backgrounds have Uncharted levels of depth. When you take all of this into account, plus the fact that they have spent YEEARS in development (with one of the best development teams in te world), millions of dollars in budgeting, and this is their first release for this gen, you can reach a pretty decisive conclusion.

I'm not really expecting more than a 9.5-9.7 from sites like IGN and Gamespot. But Famitsu should give respect when its due.
