Sorry for the late update. Canadian VGC users were having trouble earlier in the week and the update is a bit difficult to do at my present location.
Anyway, as we all know by now, the PS3 had a hugely successful Black Friday week. On a worldwide basis, PS3 outperformed last year's 360 sales by 36k and in this single week the overall 360 lead was reduced by 290k. For the comparison of price cut vs price cut however, Sony didn't quite completely recover the full differential from last year's Black Friday when PS3 sales were pretty dismal. As a result, for Black Friday vs Black Friday, the overall "win" for worldwide numbers goes to last year's 360 cut by just under 37k.
