So if a new Zelda game was made, with the exact same style and layout as the first Legend of Zelda, but with with better graphics and perhaps some muliplayer thrown in, that would also make it one of the best games of all time?
Not that I don't like NSMBW, I think it's just as awsome as the previous 2d installments of the series, and it's really cool to revisit Mario's roots, and be able to enjoy this type of gameplay on a big screen again..
But I still won't say it's one of the best games of all time, even though the old 2d Mario's definetly are - mosty because a lot have happend in the evolution of gaming since and we have come to expect more from a game.
NSMBW feels more like a nostalgic trip to the past - but it's still great fun..
On the other hand I definetly think Super Mario Galaxy is the latest instalement in the Mario series, that can be worthy of a "one of the greatest games of all time" title, and it's with out a doubt one of the greatest games of this generation so far..
