"@Killeryoshis... That's pretty much what the dude in the video and I meant. There's been a gap, I argue big gap, in IMO awesome games on the Wii. And when Nintendo focuses on titles like Wii sports resort and Animal crossing for up to 1.5-2 years, it's not suprising when some think they've swiched focus. 2010 and up are looking better in this regard though..."

But why are you putting all of the Wii's library on Nintendo? Aren't you forgetting there are other developers who neglected the system with those awesome games? Don't tell me that Nintendo magically can only make awesome games on the Wii.

Well, one of the big complaints about the Wii is 3rd party support. It's kinda like Sony's predicament but to a much greater degree, Nintendo has to make up for the lack of 3rd party support. It's just what it is, up to Nintendo. And they haven't really been focusing on my demographic for awhile.

"Don't tell me that Nintendo magically can only make awesome games on the Wii."

As for the quote on top, I don't understand what you mean. Are you saying they can only make great games on their home console? Because I would disagree. I think the DS has experienced very good support in both games I don't care about (Nintendogs, brain age) and awesome games like Phantom Hourglass and the Mario RPGs. Nintendo has done good there.

If you meant something else for the last part, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.

I just have had enough times where I mention third parties are as much to blame for the lack of such games, and others claim only Nintendo can sell such games on the Wii, to pretend they have absolved the 3rd parties.

Ahh, I understand now.
