I wonder if Nintendo just underestimated the replay value of their games. I've been waiting for Mario Party 9 for at least a year now with no announcement. Theres only so many times you can play a board and certain mini games before you want more. Games with limited content do not offer much replay value. This is what 360 does right. They release downloadable content to extend the gameplay at a low cost to develop and low cost for the consumer. That is win-win for everyone. DLC for new mario party game boards, new mini games. DLC for new NSMBW levels. DLC for an epilogue of Twilight Princess. If they won't give us new games they can at least expand the old ones.
