A blunder is a failure. Last time I checked, the PS3 is still breaking records, something the Saturn could only dream of. Right now, the lowest selling console in Japan is the Xbox 360, and even IT has broken records there. The PS3 is still breaking records, yes even in Japan (Yakuza/Metal Gear come to mind). Hardly a blunder...In fact, this gen has none.

Yes, the PS3 is still breaking records, including the one for losing the most money. This makes the PS3 a failure and considering that it is also the follow up to the best selling home console, the PS2, it is indeed the biggest blunder in the industry.

You are sticking to that illusion that the PS3 is doing great while in reality the console is still draining all the profits that the PS1, PS2 and PSP made in their entire lifetimes. Going by your logic, the first Xbox must have been a phenomenal success too.
