Has anybody proven me wrong yet?
Or are we going to argue about cinematics in games and how they don't really help anything except review scores? Cinematic games were perfected ages ago, and aren't really getting better or doing anything different. Games like Out of This World and Half-Life did it right. The game can feel cinematic without feeling like you're watching a movie instead of playing a game. It's possible, and it's great. But 99% of cinematic games are pathetic jokes. But hey, 99% of platformers are pathetic jokes too. But I'd rather play a bad platformer than a bad cinematic game. If I want bad cinematics, I'll watch a bad movie, and then play a good game afterwards. I can watch a bad movie in 1 or 2 hours, instead of playing through a 5-50 hour movie/game. And even better, some times bad movies have Christopher Walken or boobs or something.
