Depends on what you're buying and where. If, say, you were in NYC buying a stickered $90 pair of jeans, I'd call you insane for paying that much, but you'd pay $90 at the checkout. Conversely, if you bought a stickered $90 electronic device, you'd pay $97.76 at checkout. (That is, assuming the tax in NYC's not changed.)
