you didn't "invent" any of those things, only came up with the theories which support them. Besides, evolution hasn't been proven :P |
I'm sorry but no. Evolution has been proven, there is no way out of it. It has been proven time and time again for the past 150 years. It is one of the major pillars of biology all science. To be honest, the evidence backing up evolution is reaching overkill now.
For example, during the industrial revolution there was an animal called the peppered moth. The peppered moth came in two varieties, mostly white and mostly black. When the industry boomed, the cities became thick with black dust and smog from coal and other emissions. This meant that the birds could easily see the white moths in the new black environment, but not the black ones which were now camouflaged. Within a few years the whitest ones had become extinct and gradually over time the moths became darker and darker because only the fittest could survive. The fittest in this case being the moths that were darkest. It's natural selection only the ones who are fit to survive in their environment will pass on their genes to the next generation. Source.
This is just one observed case out of literally tens of thousands.
This may have been only a small evolution over a couple of years, a micro evolution. But imagine evolutions like that are happening to each species every day, none stop. This is macro evolution. Essentially macro and micro are the same, regardless of what answers in genesis says.
This video expalins it very nicely by using a great analogy...
Imagine the evolution in the peppered moth I described as just one photo of the girl in this video and you will see what I mean.
