Please explain how Nintendo is going to magically double production by 2008.
Please explain how Sony magically doubled production of the PS2 in 2002. The succesful console gets huge increases in production, I thougt that was pretty much self evident.
Third party dev. give you a good game in Zack and Wiki, and got very little in return, hoping the game would sell well. Explain this.
Good games sell badly sometimes. I'm sure you're familiar with Okami, an excellent game on the best selling console to date? Zack&Wiki was a quirky niche title with a low budget, and the Capcom representives have repeatedly said that they weren't expecting to do all that well.
How many third party titles do you think have made a profit on the PS3? Before the soon-to-be million seller CoD4, the best selling game was Riiidge Racer at under 700k. The 360 is still selling more games, but Wii games clearly make more profit. I suppose the scenario where the Wii keeps getting spin-offs, and the main series remain on the HD consoles is possible, but it doesn't make sense honestly.
The people who said Metroid Prime 3 is going to outsell Halo 3 are the types of people who say the PS3 is going to outsell the Wii. Come on, we know there are fans for all consoles that are less than entirely rooted in reality.
