They aren't giving up on the Wii. They actually got twice as much revenue on the system this year over the last. They have some solid sellers. He's disappointed in the sales of Madden and Dead Space, and does find the Wii market confusing from systems before, but they are going to keep trying.
Unlike Ubisoft, his words before were not out of context, just the conclusion of drawing back on the Wii was wrong.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
