I just listened to the first half, and here is what they said.
Zelda Spirit Tracks
-They like it.
-Is difficult
- 5 Dungeons plus recurring dungeon.
- 25hrs to beat the game without doing all sidequests.
- 1st hour is intro and slow, but gets interesting after that.
- Puzzles differ from franchise conventions.
- Blow into the microphone a lot (can be annoying).
- Blowing mechanisms registers better in newer model DSs.
- Bozon says instrument better implemented than Ocarina in Ocarina of Time.
-Some repeat stuff from Phantom Hourglass, but a lot of fresh stuff.
- Wouldn’t say if it is better than Phantom Hourglass or not.
-Say they prefer the boat to the train.
-Review up Monday.
Silent Hill Shattered Memories
- Review up tomorrow (today? Not sure when podcast was posted)
- Will get a good score
- Not a junk game, deserves more promotion
- Much better than Climax’s other Wii Game, Overlord.
- Best flashlight in any game including HD systems.
- Grainy filter is in the game, works well.
- Two mechanics Exploration/Puzzle solving
- Use phone to take pictures/ see memories and get voicemail with clue.
- Big part of game is running for your life.
- Matt was very scared with this game.
- Look behind you while running, scary when monster is right behind you
- Sounds through Wiimote.
- Gripes, Too Short if good 5 hours, if slower 6 ½ hours.
- The Psych profile aspect adds replay value.
- Effects Dialog Trees in the game.
- Monsters only there with ice prevalent, takes away some of the fear.
- No Weapons of any kind.
- Bozon says game is not as scary as Matt thinks.
They were getting ready to talk about the DSLL, but I had already listend for 30 minutes, and was very bored. If I go back and listen later, I'll post the rest of it.
If anybody wants to thank me for suffering through that you can help me out by voting in the thread in my sig
