Assassin's Creed is Ubisoft not EA. Infact of the biggest publishers EA is the only one that lacks an original IP game to that magnitude now. Take-Two has GTA, Activision has COD/MW, Square has FF, Ubisoft has AC, Capcom has Resident Evil and the first party titles have their big hitters. EA has licensed sports games and that's about it. LFD has potential if it was released multiplat but 2.5 is not a mega hit when comparing it to 6 or 7 mill minimum for the other publishers big hitters. Konami's big hitter exclusive is almost 2 million sales a head of that with 4.3 for MGS4.

EA may have been attacking many genre's but they clearly lack the know how on how to create a game that can actually control a genre. GOW has nothing to fear in Dante's Inferno. It will be just like all the other EA games. Mediocre. Too bad EA can't just buy an exclusive license for button mashers then maybe it could outsell GOW, seeing as it wouldn't exist.
