The Musou franchise is going downhill in general. Up until DW5 they all broke a million in Japan easy, but around that time they added Sengoku  Musou and later Gundam Musou to their yearly lineup, and now even the main series struggles to break 600k across all platforms in Japan. 

SM3's Wii exclusivity will probably lead to even lower sales in the near term (until it gets ported - rather, if it gets ported), because most DW fans have been migrating from ps2 to ps3 alongside DW6, DW6: Empires, and GM1/2.
