Yes, because not owning a PS3 automatically negates any opinion you might have of any games on the platform - Playing is not important, owning is.

Yes, but he has a point though. How can you judge a game you haven't played? I'm not saying YOU in aprticular, but if one hasn't played a game, how can they comment on it. He may be wrong in where he was directing his point, but the point itself makes sense.

Oh, well, that, I agree with. If you haven't played a game you shouldn't voice an opinion of it. I suppose you could complain about graphics or artistic direction, but certainly not immersion, gameplay or anything relating to actually playing the game. If that's the point we're trying to make - that one should not judge a game without having played it - then I am in full agreement.
