The reasons why developers do this rail thing for the wii is because they want to get all players. moving with analog and action with the wiimote(motion) is hard for most players. Just like ppl still don't know how to control the camera with the pointer (Scarface, CoD) and when it comes to the wii, nobody wants to learn how to get better at playing games on this system so developers dumb it down so you can just play and not think. I never seen so many dumb down games on one system before in my life and i play videogames since nes.
