So game journalists acting as though that's a bad thing are:

1. Dumb or delusional.

2. Lying to make the Wii look bad.

3. Honestly think outselling the competion at lower margin than before is a bad thing.

I would conded the possibility for three, but they don't acknowledge the part about still outselling the competition.

I would say mostly 1&3 with the occasional 2 thrown in.

EDIT: In fact, I would say 1 and 3 are pretty much synonomous in this case
