At this point preorders alone are looking likely to hit at least 1 million so that should be the absolute low-ball estimate for first day and 1.2 million for first week. And in regards to selling to an enormous portion of the install base, when it launched in Japan MGS4 sold in it's first 3 week to about 25% of the install base at the time and MGS isn't nearly as big a franchise as FF is in Japan. By the time this game launches PS3 should be close to 4.5 million install base so 1.5 million would only be about 33% attach ratio. Although I will agree that 2 million is VERY unlikely first week.
