Your profile says you're from the UK, I assume that's right. 

If you ever go to the pub they will probably have London Pride (plus some local ales). London Pride is pretty good but not my favourite. When you next go to the supermarket they will probably have a deal on (3 ales for 4 or £5). I recommend: 

Badger's: Fursty Ferret, Marston's: Old Empire (Pale Ale), Shepherd Neame: Spitfire.

 

Yes, yes, yes, all the beers Tombi mentioned are all worth getting. Anything by Sheperd Neame is worth trying, they make good beer. One of the rules I always go by though is to buy the guest ale, regardless of what it is.
