No More Crappy Games

Let's be honest for a second. The Condiut, Madworld, Muramasa, and NMH all sucked. They weren't good games by any real standard.

Okami sold like crap on the PS2 also. Personally I'm happy about its failure because I hate Okami with a red hot fiery passion, but that aside it's a last gen port of a bad selling game.

Metroid Prime 3 sold better than Metroid Prime 2 and according to VG chartz it sold more than Super Metroid. I have all the console Metroid games but they definitely appeal to a specific type of player and looking at the sales of the previous games it's successful by Metroid standards.

Punch Out I don't have an answer for. Its legs don't look too horribly bad, though, so it may slowly eek its way past 1mln which is never a bad thing.

A crappy game is a crappy game and I have no problems watching games like The Condiut, Okami, and Zack and Wiki flounder and die horrible deaths.  I mean was anyone honestly excited about a Dead Space rails shooter? As soon as I heard it was on rails all interest in the game dropped.  They had a young interesting franchise they could have exapanded on with the Wii but instead sat around on their asses enjoying the smell of their own farts and phoned in a spinoff like anyone actually gives a crap about the Dead Space franchise.

The Wii will probably not see a really breakout non-Nintendo game, but it's hardly Nintendo's fault that the video game industry is largely lazy uncreative hacks.

Well, that's the point with games like Madworld, Muramasa, Little Kings Story, NMH, Zack and Wiki, Okami, etc. Some people will love them and regard them as amazing tittles, and many of those who don't personally like them but do have an objective critical sense will be able to see they are at least, I don't know, "well made", in a sense, while most people won't like these games because they just don't fit their tastes. That's kind of the definition of good niche games, so the fact that you don't like them is to be expected, I just don't think it would be fair to classify most of these as "crappy games".

Ok so you can me an excuse of everything and this happens more often by Nintendo Fans, i have been a nintendo fan since the NES, only having nintendo consoles until the ps2 i had it and sell it, because i love nintendo, but you got to get your head out of you asses, yes nintendo makes the greatest games with high production values and great charm but we Nintendo fans sometimes dont give an opportunity to others publishers or other games just because they don't have Mario, Zelda or Metroid in the box, i hate all this talk and no action if you hate publishers for not giving support for the console you and i love give them support to, yes i have nintendo titles but i give opportunity to some other publishers, just look at my profile yes i have the Marios and everything else but i look at other games before bashing or saying things like lazy and cheap production values.

You can say everything about a game and put in a genre let me start:

No More Heroes.....sandbox wanabbe GTA4 , low production values, no big developer and everything but it rocks.

Dead Space.......Rail Shotter, Sequel of a game we dont have , but the story,gameplay(even if it is a rail shotter) and atmosphere make for it.

Madworld......Graphics seem odd (Black and white with red), 6 hour lenght ... but it has style , good story and a big publisher behind it.

The conduit.....Boring style, everyday movie story(Government conspiracy),and unknown developer........ but it has good production values,grat graphics, and pasion.

 

For every No more heroes theres a Devil May Cry, for every Little Kings Story you have Katamari , yes those games came up with no fanfare and end up selling very good and all comes to the type of gamers each console has.

And i can continue for ever , what i trying to say just buy the good damned games and stop crying why dont you have the other console titles, and you can put every wii title you'll name in a niche category, thats an excuse and reflects that you don't contribute to the cause by not buying the games you mention.  Just buy other developers/publishers games  and stop crying.
