I REALLY liked DK Jungle Beat for the GameCube (not the Wii version). It was a really good and fun plataformer and I felt it had that magic you talk about. DK Kongas were great too, though there wasn't much of DK there lol. I hope that if there's a new DK game, it's 2D... I enjoyed every bit of DK64, but it felt more like a Banjo Kazooie than a DKC experience...
