I think they went for the casual market,hoping for greater sales if the game was enjoyed by both hardcore and casual players.
All they got in return was the casual players indifference and the hardcore players anger.
It wasn`t a bad game,but it had an identity crisis. The combat laked while the puzzles and platforming remain.
No PoP game is the same after you remove the combat,no matter what type of gamer you are.
