Thats why come next gen I won't be buying a Wii 2, rather just the DS. Atleast at launch anyways.
Nintendo themselves has a lot of great titles but the third party offerings don't come close to what the PS3 or 360 has to offer, let alone the PC. It's a matter of opinion but I do think metacritic and gamerankings speak for themselves. That's not to say the PS3 or 360 doesn't have It's fair share of crap but I find myself buying less and less Wii games every year. If it wasn't for the great amount of light gun/rail shooters and No More Heroes I wouldn't have bought a non-first party Wii title in the last two years.
It's just that simple.
