What if Alan Wake and Heavy Rain would flop totaly in sales?

Sony predicted LBP would be a next Mario, just to utterly destroy the launch, LOL. Microsoft is better at pushing and targeting Alan Wake to the 360 core, even without spending billions on banners and ads, while I feel like 75% of those who've heard about Heavy Rain are still dizzy what a hell this game is about.

When did Sony say that,  are you sure you arent just taking ridiculous fanboy dreams and spinning them as if Sony themselves said it.   And its not like LBP was unsuccessful at all.   Isnt it above 2.5M?  And also how did the launch get destroyed?
