Alright, let's take this slowly then. 1.339 + 1.898 = 3.237

Then 3.237 - .497 - .169 = 2.571

If you want to include 2005 (which isn't right anyways) 2.571 + .485 = 3.056

You are doing something wrong. Mostly seems like you didn't account for profit.

Ok.  You are right, I didn't list the 07 and 08 years in millions during my calculations.  The loss is 2.57 billion since 2006.  The reason 2005 was included is because of R&D for the 360.  We can exclude it since it includes original Xbox numbers as well.
