As long as they are in the mindset of tech over practicality, like thinking physical media is somehow on the way out, then they won't give the Wii the support it deserves. Same with all the developers.

The Wii is vastly underpowered compared to the PS3/360/PC. That was Nintendo's decision and it has been "practical" for their bottom line. But why must the rest of the industry stand still because Nintendo decided to launch a console with specs that are closer in performance to systems launced over a decade ago? If we really wanted to be "practical" we could all still be playing Atari.

Honestly; if we wanted all wanted hardware performance, we should be using gaming PC's instead of hardware that's wouldn't have been relevant for PC's 8 years ago.

Pixel Art can be fun.
