| Avinash_Tyagi said: Wii is, Wii HD wouldn't grow that fast No guarantee, but considering other quality well knowntitles on Wii sales, its very likely. Only of titles that appear to be shovelware, excellent titles are still selling great Actually Devs and publishers have stated Wii development is a lot cheaper than HD development. Yet Wii has higher selling titles than all three platforms combined, indicating that its not risky, its just that you have to bring really good games to the Wii |
I think the OP is being ignored. Ultimately, I think if there was a Wii HD it wouldn't be "denied" many 3rd party games simply because porting would be easy. How it sells is a completely different discussion.
What excellent titles are selling great? Excluding first party.
Developers and publishers aren't exactly bringing Wii games of the same caliber as HD consoles. I'd argue the original Xbox and PS2 saw higher quality games. So development being cheaper is very believable.
The higher selling titles are Nintendo games. Nintendo games never struggle on Nintendo consoles. Everyone else struggles on the Wii.
Anyhow, this is going nowhere. You have your opinions, I have mine. I have nothing else to say.
