The Wii is vastly underpowered compared to the PS3/360/PC. That was Nintendo's decision and it has been "practical" for their bottom line. But why must the rest of the industry stand still because Nintendo decided to launch a console with specs that are closer in performance to systems launced over a decade ago? If we really wanted to be "practical" we could all still be playing Atari. 

Probably because the market has shown that console specs are not as important as the industry has thought. If all we cared about was specs we would all be playing on the PC.

As for the Wii port, they're probably better off leaving this one alone. If they did port, though, I'd guess the Wii version would probably manage 1-2 million.

And defining standing still solely by tech is just as delusional as the gaming industry thinks. They aren't moving forward. They're chaging blindly ahead, not caring about the costs, and losing money for that.

If Nintendo was standing still, the Wii would play just like the GC, and would have been packaged with a core game, and we wouldn't see Wii Sports at all.
