And defining standing still solely by tech is just as delusional as the gaming industry thinks. They aren't moving forward. They're chaging blindly ahead, not caring about the costs, and losing money for that.
If Nintendo was standing still, the Wii would play just like the GC, and would have been packaged with a core game, and we wouldn't see Wii Sports at all.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
