I don't think SE would even consider it, regardless of what projected sales would show. For 3 generations now, their mindset has been that their 'core' series are on the Sony platforms (and MS recently) with the Nintendo consoles getting spinoff games and remakes.
Hardware is only a means to enjoy great games!
