I'm going to guess that the PC emulating FF12 is more powerful than a Wii.
The Wii currently has the largest user base of all consoles in Japan but the game's going to be released in less than a month there and it's a PS3 exclusive. If it was going to happen, there would be an announcement by now.
History has shown that Final Fantasy has always been on the most successful console of every generation. Then again, History has also shown that Final Fantasy has always been exclusive to that most successful console. Now have a 360 version of 13 for every major market that's not Japan.
Should it happen? I'm sure there are Wii owners who were ex-PS2 owners who enjoyed Final Fantasy 10, 11, and/or 12. There's also a Wii market for Final Fantasy if the Crystal Bearers and Chocobo's Dungeon are taken into consideration but it's too small to justify the effort. So finally, no.
