Sorry missed this thread last night. I did pick up the Zapper yesterday just as it was being put on the shelves. Link's Crossbow Training itself is worth the price of admission in my opinion it'll give you memories of games like Hogan's Alley and Duck Hunt racking up points against the time trying to score higher. Starting out on the game you can calibrate it thankfully although only up and down it also allows you to set your pointer speed from terribly slow to quick and fast. It has 9 levels 8 + a final(like any other Zelda console game) split into 3 areas each for a total of 27 different little shooting games some of which are boss/miniboss fights from Twilight Princess. Its a lot of fun and there is humor in there for any Zelda fan as you are allowed to shoot at all the various background elements I won't put any spoilers though on the results of shooting some of them as thats part of the fun :P . The game has 3 modes Single Multiplayer and Practice where you can work on your shooting. In Single you play a level's 3 areas and try to rack up points to score Bronze Silver Gold and Platinum medals just like Wii Sports / Play. The practice mode also records the high scores for all players so its possible to compete not only on groupings of levels but individual levels as well. As for the zapper itself its surprisingly well built its got some weight to it completely assembled and the plastic at least seems tough and not cheap. Its not something I'm absolutely in love with but I don't hate it either and imagine its true value will be that relatives this holiday will pick the game up easier when I hand them a zapper instead of a Wiimote + Nunchuck. Overall though I'd say buy it the game alone justifies it. I do have one small complaint though the game itself came in a sleeve instead of a full game box stop with the f***ing sleeves Nintendo!!
