Really.........news to me. What was PS2's price in October 2003?

Edit: After not-so-extensive research, it seems that you are correct here, EXCEPT that the Wii is $20.00 cheaper than the PS2 was in October 2003.

 


Perhaps, but Wii will likely be at 199 longer than PS2 did, and Its probably likely that Wii will keep on selling higher than the PS2 throughout its lifetime, indicating that there is no reason for Nintendo to replace it
