@Avinash I'm talking about Japan sales only.
MKWii=2.37 million
NSMBDS=5.73 million
Like I said not quite half the sales on less than 1/3 the install base and with a 2 year head start. Depending on when Nintendo decides to discontinue the DS I can see MKWii getting close to NSMBDS lifetime in Japan.
