They call CoD 6 Modern Warfare 2, no CoD involved, but people are still playing CoD, not Modern Warfare 2

I think the name is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Most people just call it MW2 or CoD6, the latter being completely wrong and annoying.

Well the hardened edition is called Modern Warfare 2, the normal edition is CoD Modern Warfare 2
