While I agree they rounded, I don't think they would have rounded that much. This is either a case of them only giving info on a specific portion of the americas (ie the US) ...which I don't think the non-US Americas would account for 250k units....or VGC is off a bit.
I think the likely scenario here is that the US sold around 550k and perhaps the rest of the Americas were around 150k or so and VGC was off by a bit.
If the full Americas number was around 700k in actuality then 750k is still less than 10% off.
