They made an innovation and now are looking for places to use it, instead of considering a problem first and developing the solution later. This approach is behind many failed ideas.

I don't doubt that eventually something will replace the remote control, but I don't think gestures or speech recognition is it... not yet at least.

No one wants their TV suddenly changing channel because you said the "wrong" word in a conversation.
